These are some of the most common questions we get. If you didn't find the answer here, we'll be glad to help you by e-mail. Write us to hello@momsinfilm.org
Where can I learn more about The Wee Wagons?
The Wee Wagon page is the best place to start. There you will learn more about how the Wee Wagons came about and where they have been deployed.
I'm interested in having a Wee Wagon on my film. How do I do this?
Moms-in-Film is currently in the midst of launching an independent social enterprise that supports the development of a fleet of these modular care units If you are interested in bringing a Wee Wagon to your set, studio or beyond, email us at hello@momsinfilm.org so we can get the conversation going!
I'm interested in starting a Chapter of Moms-in-Film. What do I do?
If you live in LA, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC or San Francisco your first step should be to get involved in the existing Chapters in those cities. If you live elsewhere, email us at hello@momsinfilm.org and we'll send you the New Chapter Welcome Kit that details the responsibilities of Chapters and Chapter Leaders.
I'm interested in partnering with Moms-in-Film as a sponsor or partner.
Well, thank you! We would love to work with you too! We are a 501(c)(3) so all donations are fully tax-deductible. Email us at hello@momsinfilm.org and let's discuss the best way to team up!
I want to be a member of Moms-in-Film. Are there dues?
There are not. We do not ask for dues from anyone that attends Moms-in-Film events. Anyone is welcome to come to an event and proudly brag that they are a member of Moms-in-Film.
Why are the Facebook Chapter Groups limited to those who identify as female?
These spaces are designed to help female-identifying filmmakers catalyze one anothers careers and support each other. Whether it's by connecting over work opportunities or celebrating motherhood, we keep these groups limited to female-identifying filmmakers so they may feel free to express themselves and communicate freely.
Are men welcome to contribute/support the organization?
Absolutely! Moms-in-Film has a vision of an entertainment industry that has complete and total gender parity. All parents and allies are welcome at our meetups and are encouraged to follow our public Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to show their support.
