There are not. We do not ask for dues from anyone that attends Moms-in-Film events. Anyone is welcome to come to an event and proudly brag that they are a member of Moms-in-Film.
These spaces are designed to help female-identifying filmmakers catalyze one anothers careers and support each other. Whether it’s by connecting over work opportunities or celebrating motherhood, we keep these groups limited to female-identifying filmmakers so they may feel free to express themselves and communicate freely.
Absolutely! Moms-in-Film has a vision of an entertainment industry that has complete and total gender parity. All parents and allies are welcome at our meetups and are encouraged to follow our public Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to show their support.
